Crescent Moon Insulation was founded by Ben with a straightforward idea: Minnesota families and businesses deserve insulation work they can count on, done right the first time, with materials that perform in our climate, at a price that is fair. What started as a small operation has grown into a trusted name serving communities across the state.
Ben grew up in Minnesota and spent years working in the construction and insulation trades before launching Crescent Moon. That hands-on experience gave him a deep understanding of what works in our northern climate, and what does not. He saw too many homes underperforming because of rushed installs, cheap materials, or contractors who cut corners to save time. He knew there was a better way.
Today, Crescent Moon Insulation serves homeowners and businesses throughout central Minnesota. Whether it is a single attic in an older Brainerd home or a full commercial build, every project receives the same level of attention, craftsmanship, and follow-through.
We are not the biggest insulation company in the state, and that is by design. We grow through reputation, not advertising. Every job we complete is a direct reflection of who we are, and we intend to keep it that way.

Ben is the founder and owner of Crescent Moon Insulation LLC. With over a decade of experience in the insulation and construction industry, he leads every aspect of the business, from initial consultations to final inspections.
Ben believes that quality work speaks for itself, and he has built Crescent Moon around that principle. When he is not on a job site, you will find him spending time outdoors in northern Minnesota with his family.
